Planning and programming
The value of careful planning and monitoring of any construction project should not be underestimated. Good project management will save valuable time and money throughout the life span of the project.
In today’s construction climate the programme has become a key tool in managing projects towards timely delivery, assessing the cost to complete the project and for evaluating the impact of changes in scope.
The project plan should be a 'living document', adaptable to changes or developing concerns in connection with the project. A methodical procedure for change should be followed for situations that demand change to the critical path of the project.
