Vineyards
Vineyard valuation is a highly specialised area and requires an understanding of the viticulture process.
Factors influencing the valuation of vineyards include the market generally, legal and regulatory factors, physical factors and market factors. The various approaches to vineyard valuation include the comparable method, the investment method, the profits method, and the cost approach to value.
Vineyard valuation examples are given for land with potential for a vineyard and a commercial vineyard.
The vineyards section is maintained by Amanda Blythe-Smith of Savills.
