Building climate resilience
An increased focus on sustainability in society has meant the way that we understand and respond to some of the world’s most pressing problems has changed.
Resilience is a concept that has emerged as a parallel narrative to sustainability. Indeed, sustainability and resilience are often used interchangeably, meaning that identifying distinctive resilience methodologies and applications can be challenging.
This section explores some of the key areas of resilience, and relates these to debates on sustainability and climate change.
