Key features of alliancing

This document is only available with a paid isurv subscription.

There are number of means in which alliancing contracting may achieve its aims. These are:

  1. collective assumption of risk
  2. ‘no blame, no disputes’
  3. ‘best-for-project’ decision-making
  4. good faith
  5. gain/painshare mechanisms
  6. open-book accounting and
  7. multi-party contracts.

Each of these points will now be discussed in more detail.
