EA dealing with problems
Repossession proceedings can be lengthy and, depending on the grounds on which repossession is sought, even if there has been a breach of contract, may not be the most effective solution.
In addition to breaches of contract, some tenancies are more difficult to deal with when problems occur; for example, where the landlord and/or tenant is a company or a minor, or where the property is both residential and commercial. Likewise, problems arising from imprisonment, death, abandonment and squatters need to be dealt with carefully.
This section covers the most common tenancy problems encountered by lettings agents and offers advice on best-practice solutions.
