As a senior associate in BCLP’s Real Estate Disputes Group, Megan Davies has more than nine years of experience advising clients on contentious property matters.
Megan has significant experience and expertise in advising clients on neighbourly matters such as rights of light and party wall disputes, and other nuisance issues and development constraints.
A big part of her practice involves providing strategic and risk mitigation advice and working with her clients to find a commercially sensible solution for dealing with the dispute or issue at hand.
While Megan’s focus is finding solutions that avoid litigation for her clients, litigation is sometimes unavoidable. Megan has experience in acting for both claimants and defendants when it comes to nuisance claims, including bringing injunction proceedings to stop a nuisance where pre-action settlement could not be achieved and defending threatened injunction claims.
