Biography

Charlotte Crake is an Associate Director in Assystem's Consents and Engagement Team. She has spent the last 20 years delivering stakeholder engagement and communication programmes for both public and private sector clients.

While experienced in a range of industry communications settings, for the last 10 years Charlotte has specialised in high-profile, often contentious, construction and infrastructure projects in both urban and rural locations. Charlotte has recently worked on behalf of Aecom as an Associate Director and specialist advisor to Severn Trent Water, East West Rail and Transport Scotland.

In her previous role at tier 1 contractor NMCN (Galliford Try), Charlotte was the strategic lead for Water Division Customer and Community Operations across the UK and Jersey. This involved direct and matrix management of teams across work streams, geographic regions and clients. In addition to this, Charlotte was Group Lead for the organisations social value strategy ‘Our Communities’.
