Michael Gladwin MRICS, MAPM, PVM is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 20 years of experience specialising in risk management and assurance on major projects and programmes in the UK and overseas. He is currently an operations director for Mace, specialising in risk management and value management.
Michael is a recognised leader in risk management and assurance in construction, and has held several high-profile leadership roles on some of the biggest and most diverse projects in the UK and overseas. These include working as a programme risk manager for 2 years for the London 2012 Olympics, head of risk assurance and internal audit at Hyder plc., head of risk management for the Qatar 2022 World Cup Stadium Delivery Programme, and the independent risk manager of the Strategic Heritage Plan for the upgrade of the Palais des Nations, the United Nations Headquarters at Geneva.
