The roof covering is original to the house and does not have a secondary roofing felt barrier. This could make the roof more vulnerable to leakage around the panel fixings and so it should be closely checked. This photo shows the underside of the fixing clip that supports the fixing rail of the PV array and you should look for signs of staining and, depending on the type of survey, test the adjacent timber with the damp meter.
