Biography

Chris Gibbons BSc (Hons) MRICS is the technical due diligence specialist and service leader at Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (TFT) LLP. TFT have provided pre-acquisition and vendor surveys of some of the UK’s most prominent buildings, including 122 Leadenhall Street (aka The Cheesegrater) and 52 – 54 Lime Street (aka The Scalpel) under Chris’s direction. Chris is still very much a hands-on chartered building surveyor and personally undertakes as many TDD surveys as he can while simultaneously running the service line and the central UK office. Chris joined TFT in January 2011, but prior to that he worked at Watts Group PLC within the commercial building surveying team with some notable industry experts (many of whom now also work at TFT). 

Chris presented on TDD best practice at the RICS Building Surveying Conference in 2018, is a contributor to Modus Magazine and he is also an APC assessor.
