Building defects database - Inappropriate flat roof covering

This flat roof extension is covered with fibre cement tiles and incorporates two Velux roof windows. The pitch required for both the windows and roof covering is a minimum of 15 degrees and leaks are almost certain to occur. The use of such inappropriate  materials like this should suggest to the surveyor that other problems are likely to exist.
