This section seems to have been filled and painted to conceal its condition prior to the property being put onto the market, some months earlier. This substandard 'repair' was not spotted during the course of a survey inspection. By the time a complaint by the new owner was investigated the true condition had become apparent.

A properly critical appraisal of the conservatory would have revealed that its superficial appearance did not properly represent its true condition.
