Biography

Stephen Spooner BSc FRICS is a Chartered Surveyor with more than 40 years' experience in commercial property valuation and asset management. As Head of Property for Recept Consulting, Stephen provides advice on all aspects of asset management with specialities in the areas of process design and management, transactions and sustainability. He was Founder and Director of an Anglo-German developer of mixed use property with a commercial investment brokerage arm, sourcing retail assets in continental Europe. His company, Solaris Developments, created renewable energy assets using photovoltaic technology as an investor and on behalf of clients.

Stephen was an Estates Surveyor with The British Land Company PLC for 17 years and a director of The British Land Corporation Ltd, the principal operating company, from 1995 until 2005. Other roles include non-executive director of HighSpeed Office Ltd and Chairman of international property industry data standards body, OSCRE.
