Biography

Barry J Gillham FRICS MCIArb PPAVLP is a former Director of Fleurets. Throughout his career he specialised in the sale and valuation of licensed property.

For many years Barry was on the RICS panel of Arbitrators and Independent Experts for public houses, restaurants and other leisure property. He is a former Chairman of the RICS Leisure and Licensed Property Committee and a former member of the RICS Assets Valuations & Standards Committee. He is past President of the Association of Valuers of Licensed Property, has sat on the BII Committee dealing with Codes of Practice for Brewers and Pubcos and for 10 years was on the Council of the ALMR.

Barry has written various published papers on aspects of the valuation of public houses.
