Biography

John Woodman BSc (Hons) FRICS, is Senior Partner at Hollis. He joined the practice in 1991 after working in both private practice and the public sector as a chartered building surveyor. John specialises in landlord and tenant work and has worked exclusively in the fields of dilapidations and service charges for the past 30 years. He has worked with many of the major players in the UK commercial property market, ranging from the major institutions/funds and private property companies to corporate and retail occupiers.

He is a past chairman of the Dilapidations Practice Panel of RICS. John was also the first chairman of the Building Surveying Faculty of RICS – the faculty that took over from the Building Surveying Division in January 2001. He is currently senior warden of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors.
