Guy Fetherstonhaugh QC was called to the Bar in 1983, and took Silk in 2003. He has been Joint Head of Falcon Chambers since 2007, and a Bencher of the Inner Temple since 2009. He was made an honorary member of RICS in 2011 and of Arbrix in 2012, and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. While sharing with his colleagues in Chambers a wide practice in commercial property law, Guy specialises in rent review work (co-authoring the principal text on the subject), development agreements, and easements and restrictive covenants.
Guy has also assisted with drafting numerous RICS professional standards and guidance, including past and current editions of the Surveyors acting as arbitrators and independent experts in commercial property rent reviews guidance notes; past editions of Surveyors acting as expert witnesses; past and current editions of Surveyors acting as advocates; and the 1st edition of Conflicts of interest. He also acts as an assessor for the RICS expert witness accreditation scheme.
