Paul Birch, Director of Palbro Construction Consulting Ltd, qualified as a chartered quantity surveyor in 1999 and holds a Masters degree in Management in Construction with Construction Law. He has extensive experience in the feasibility, planning, procurement and delivery phases of construction projects. He has gained much of his experience on major UK infrastructure projects including the Jubilee Line extension, Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Crossrail and TfL’s Four Lines Modernisation.
Paul’s experience covers many of the standard forms of contract with an emphasis on the NEC and JCT forms. Paul advises employers and contractors on the most appropriate routes to be adopted in the procurement and the management of their supply chains and provides support to ensure effective implementation, which has led to repeat commissions.

Employers, contractors and subcontractors often require expert guidance on selecting the best procurement route and implementing the appropriate processes for the post-contract administration of awarded contracts and subcontracts.
