Robert Ash is an Account Manager at Plowman Craven Ltd, where he has been employed for over 35 years. His formative career, one of undertaking many and varied measured surveys throughout the country and overseas, has now progressed into one of management. He is part of the firm’s BIM team where he manages the accounts of several prestigious clients in the estate management sector.
He has in the past, provided expert witness surveys and evidence for disputes and commercial property negotiations, reconciling existing site layouts and conditions with record plans, deeds and other information to assist with dispute resolution and avoidance.
Since 1999 he has been a member of the working groups established for the updating and publication of RICS measuring standards, the Code of Measuring Practice, and most recently, the professional statement Measurement of Office Buildings.
Robert has presented at regional RICS CPD Days in Newcastle, Loughborough and Nottingham in the past and he gained RICS Fellowship by Achievement membership status in 2014.
He is currently an RICS Assessor for APC and Professional Experience Route for candidates applying for chartered professional membership.
